		<title>SCC in DHI Herds Averaged 233,000 in 2009</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Somatic cell count (SCC) in Dairy Herd Improvement (DHI) herds enrolled in SCC testing in the U.S. averaged 233,000 in 2009, which was less than the 2008 average of 262,000. This compares to 276,000 in 2007; 288,000 in 2006; and 296,000 in 2005.
