Registration for this summer’s NMC regional meeting, scheduled for May 22-23 in Visalia, California, is now available online. Mark your calendars! The NMC 48th Annual Meeting will be held January 25-28, 2009 at the Westin Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina. The meeting will follow the same format as previous years, starting on Sunday and concluding on Wednesday.

Next year’s NMC annual meeting is scheduled for January 20-23, 2008 in New Orleans. The meeting will be held at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel, located on the corner of Canal Street and Bourbon Street — the gateway to the world famous “French Quarter”. Don’t miss it!

Designed to be easier to navigate with a fresh new look, the new NMC website should make your visits more enjoyable and more efficient. Results of the 2006 National Dairy Quality Awards (NDQA) program were announced during the NMC 46th Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas. Read about the Platinum winners, along with the Gold and Silver winners (and their nominators) here. Results of the awards program were also published in the January 10, 2007 issue of Hoard’s Dairyman magazine.

San Antonio, Texas was the site for this year’s NMC 46th Annual Meeting, held January 21-24 at the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel. Throughout the four-day conference, over 400 meeting attendees shared global challenges and valuable experiences, reviewed new research results and had the opportunity to network with milk quality colleagues from around the world. Highlights from the meeting will be featured on this site and in future issues of the NMC newsletter “Udder Topics“.
